Paradise Beef was founded in 2020 when the pandemic caused beef prices at auction to plummet. We were quickly faced with two options: lose the farm our family has been operating for 3 generations, or change the way we were doing things.
We soon discovered that we weren't the only ones struggling to keep things going and partnered with several other local ranchers to start selling our beef direct to consumer. This allows us to provide you and your family with quality, American beef from small local family farms all year long.
It's been a whirlwind as we've adjusted and learned about this unique corner of the business world but we've absolutely loved being able to connect with our customers on a more personal level. M E E T Y O U R T E A M
SHAWN AND ALYSSA
Shawn is a 3rd generation cattle rancher, grew up working on the farm with his Dad and brothers and was known for dragging his friends along for the fun! Alyssa grew up on a little homestead up a small canyon road in Northern Utah raising animals and loving the country life.
They met in 2011 and were married in 2012. Shawn has a career in wealth management and runs several businesses. Alyssa is a stay-at-home mom to their 4 great kids and runs most of the day-to-day operations of the farm and business. In addition to the cattle, they have a small homestead that consists of dairy goats, sheep, chickens, three dogs, two awesome barn cats. The family loves spending time outdoors together camping, hiking and riding RZRs. |
ISAAC AND SHAE
Isaac grew up working on the farm with his dad. When his dad had hip surgery and a liver transplant, Isaac took on more responsibility on the farm and decided that it was a lifestyle he for sure wanted for his future family.
Shae and Isaac met in 2020 and were married August of 2021. Shae grew up without ever touching anything larger than a dog and had no idea all that went into farm life before marrying Isaac. However, she wasted no time jumping into the middle of it, mud, manure and all. She’s not afraid to get out there and help Isaac with feeding cows, fixing fence and tagging calves. She has a passion for photography and loves capturing the beauty of farm life with her camera whenever she can. Isaac and Shae hope to eventually have children and raise them in the lifestyle that made Isaac who he is today. |
JAYSON AND JENNIFER SMITH
Jayson is a multigenerational cattleman and butcher who grew up in the industry. He hit the family payroll at 8 years old helping his grandpa with various jobs around the shop. He grew up in Delta, UT and moved to Grace, ID when he and Jenn purchased their business in 2020. Jayson is an incredible cook and loves helping people customize their orders so they have a freezer full of meat that fits their family's needs perfectly.
